One of the mountains that surround Jerusalem, situated on the eastern side of the city. While staying in Bethany, Jesus made His way to Jerusalem and the Temple, walking back and forth on the mountain slopes. Prophet Zechariah wrote that the Messiah would come and set His foot on the Mount of Olives. Here too, King David wept for his son Absalom. Pilgrims will study key sites associated with the Passover festival two thousand years ago.
